At SANCHEZ-MENDOZA, we are a ministry dedicated to sharing the Word of the Lord with people all over the world, regardless of their language.
We seek to encompass the five ministries entrusted to faithful men and women who have been called to bear witness to the power of God.
"Doctor of Linguistics, expert in Hebrew, Aramaic, Greek, Latin, Coptic, Ethiopic, Sanskrit and many other ancient languages."
"Doing work and labor for our God is the best we can do at this time."
"Working together on this call is the best thing that could have happened to us, as we share testimonies and experiences."
Hebrew is a Semitic language spoken in Israel, and it is also the traditional language of the Jewish people. It is a Northwest Semitic language within the Afroasiatic language family, and it was spoken by the Israelites until after 200 CE. Hebrew is also the liturgical language of Judaism and Samaritanism.
Aramaic is a Northwest Semitic language with a history spanning over 3,000 years, originating in the ancient region of Syria and spreading to Mesopotamia, the southern Levant, and beyond. It's closely related to Hebrew, Arabic, and other Semitic languages. Aramaic has been spoken and written in various forms, including the language of the Babylonian Talmud and the language Jesus spoke.
The Greek language is an ancient Indo-European language that is the sole surviving descendant of the Hellenic branch. It has a long, well-documented history, spanning at least 3,400 years, and is native to Greece, Cyprus, and various regions of the Balkans, Caucasus, and other parts of the Eastern Mediterranean.
Latin is an ancient Indo-European language, specifically part of the Italic branch, which originated in Latium (modern-day Lazio) around Rome. It became the dominant language throughout the Roman Republic and Empire and has significantly influenced many languages, including English, through the adoption of numerous words and linguistic structures.
